Where This Comes From
The conversation after
the framework.
Allen spent years inside a company that's very good at building salespeople, and got good at it too. But somewhere along the way it became clear that the frameworks being taught weren't what actually changed people. What changed people was the conversation after the framework. The one where they had to admit what was real.
That's the conversation we've been having ever since.
We work with leaders, business owners, and their teams because that's where the pressure is highest and the honest conversations are rarest. Most of them are surrounded by people who need something from them. They don't have anybody who just tells them the truth.
That's what we show up to do. Every week. No ego, no agenda -- just the next step.
What We Actually Believe
The business is downstream of the person running it.
Strip away the tactics and it always comes back to a few things. Get these right in the person, and the business follows.
Fix the person first.
The business doesn't change until the person does. We've watched owners try to fix marketing when the real problem was accountability. Try to hire their way out of problems they created. Try to build systems on top of a broken foundation. It doesn't work. The business is downstream of you.
There is no shortcut.
The people we've worked with who've built something real -- something that holds up -- did it through daily reps. Not a big launch, not a rebrand, not a new hire. Daily reps. Show up, do the work, tell the truth, repeat.
Being humble isn't weakness.
The owners who think they have it figured out are the ones we worry about. Continuous development isn't a nice-to-have. It's the job. The version of you that got here can't get you to the next place.
We're not going to tell you what you want to hear.
You have plenty of people for that. We're going to ask you the question you've been avoiding, sit with you while you answer it, and be there the next week when it's still hard. That's the partnership.
The Philosophy Behind the Work
Four words that run everything we do.
Not a framework from a book. The pattern we kept seeing in every high-performing person we've worked alongside, and in every person who hit a wall and had to rebuild.
What We've Built On
The foundation
The work comes from real client sessions, not theory. Here's what we've built it on.
- Years building salespeople and teams inside a nationally recognized training organization
- 60+ page framework library developed from real client work, not theory
- A repeatable session methodology, refined across hundreds of client sessions
- "No Ego, Stay Humble" philosophy -- built from patterns we kept seeing in every owner who was stuck
- Workshop and speaking experience (on pause until 2027, taking bookings now)
- Iowa-based, working with business owners nationally
Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs: About Allen and the work.
Who is Allen Weaver?
Allen Weaver is the founder of Nesh Consulting and a business consultant based in Norwalk, Iowa. He developed the No Ego, Stay Humble leadership philosophy. He works with small business owners and their teams to build accountability, leadership, and sustainable growth habits.
What is Allen Weaver's background in business consulting?
Allen Weaver spent years inside a nationally recognized sales training organization, building salespeople and teams. Over that time, he developed a 60-plus-page framework library from real client work, refined his session methodology across hundreds of client engagements, and built the No Ego, Stay Humble philosophy from observing the patterns shared by every business owner who broke through a plateau. He now works independently through Nesh Consulting.
What is the No Ego, Stay Humble philosophy?
No Ego, Stay Humble is a four-pillar leadership philosophy developed by Allen Weaver. The four pillars are: No (learning to say no is a skill that protects your focus), Ego (confidence listens while ego closes ears), Stay (consistency over time is what builds something that holds), and Humble (personal development has no finish line -- the version of you that got here cannot get you to the next level).
Does Allen Weaver work with businesses outside of Iowa?
Yes. Allen is based in Norwalk, Iowa, but works with business owners nationally via Zoom. He can conduct in-person team consulting sessions for Iowa and Des Moines area clients. The majority of 1:1 engagements are conducted remotely.
How is Allen Weaver different from other business consultants?
Allen focuses on the person before the business strategy. His position is that the business is downstream of the owner running it. Rather than delivering a plan or a framework document, he shows up weekly, holds the honest conversation the owner has been avoiding, and tracks follow-through across the engagement. A repeatable session structure gives every conversation a clear accountability loop.
If you were disciplined in every aspect of your life, how could you not have a great year?

The Next Step
Ready to start the
honest conversation?
The assessment takes about 5 minutes. It looks at where you are across Structure, Craft, Support, and the Story You Tell Yourself, and it tells you exactly what kind of support fits you right now. No pitch at the end. Just a clear answer.
